I came back to myself

In 2019 I started to work on the topic of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The project became a book and an exhibition. Yet, I didn’t feel comfortable letting it go. 

In 2021 I began two conversations about polycystic ovary syndrome without a clear goal in mind. My attitude was to try and see, I consciously chose to be driven by the events and to have as little control as possible towards a final result. We ended up talking about pain, motherhood, boundaries, femininity, the healthcare system in the Netherlands and in Italy, flowers, reflections in the mirror, being in nature, our future.
