Beatrice Cera is an author, photographer and visual designer. Her research interest focuses on the perception and representation of the female mind and body. Her practice explores possibilities in between normative definitions of health and illness, using photography and collaboration as a narrative tool to look towards ways of ‘healing’.
Influenced by her background as a graphic designer she often visualizes her projects in the form of books. She received a BA in Product Design & Visual Communication from the Free University of Bolzano in Italy and is now undertaking MA Photography & Society at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.
